Dane Lang - B.Com LLB (Hons) - Solicitor

Dane was admitted as a Solicitor in early 2008 having carried out his trainee year with Macrossan & Amiet after graduating with honours from Griffith University in Brisbane in 2006.

A Macrossan & Amiet advert at his university led to Dane packing his bags and heading for the Whitsundays, a move that perfectly suited his desire to work for a large, reputable law firm outside of the city.

Originally from Kingaroy, in the South Burnett region of Queensland, Dane wanted to work for a firm where he would receive the breadth and depth of training of a large city firm while still enjoying a good work/life balance.

One of his loves is research and he enjoys learning about new areas of law and increasing his knowledge of specific areas of law relevant to his clients needs.

Dane also has a degree in commerce, majoring in politics and public policy, and thinks he might have been a policy adviser for government if he had not chosen law.

He loves the lifestyle the Whitsundays afford him and when he's not at work, Dane and his wife Laura are often found walking their dog on Conway Beach. Dane also plays soccer for the Proserpine Taipans and likes to see bands on weekends.
