Kylie has been with Macrossan & Amiet since 2006, having completed a Bachelor of Law at James Cook University, in Townsville, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.

Born in Proserpine Hospital, and completing her schooling at Cannonvale Primary School and Proserpine State High School, Kylie was only too happy to return to her ‘home town’ when she was offered a job in Macrossan & Amiet’s Whitsunday office.

She enjoys the trust and familiarity involved with dealing with people she has known her whole life – priding herself on being ‘honest and upfront’ with everyone she deals with – and considers working for such a reputable firm in her hometown ‘very personally satisfying’.

Kylie’s areas of expertise are litigation, wills and estate, residential and business conveyancing and commercial law.

She prides herself on her dispute resolution skills, preferring to see clients “walk away from a dispute with a result they can live with” rather than spend often large sums of money on court proceedings without being guaranteed a result they would be happy with.

She is also very community minded and is a board member and secretary of the Whitsunday Housing Company, which delivers affordable housing in the area, and a committee member of the Whitsunday School Industry Links program, which aims to deliver school-based apprenticeships.

When not at work, Kylie is very much into sport and loves playing both indoor and outdoor netball. She is also secretary of the Raiders Rugby Union Club.
