Update Article – “Latitude” Gordon & Brisbane Streets, Mackay

Those regular readers of our newsletter will recall the profile article on Rick Shelley from our September 2012 edition. Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors is proud to announce that construction of Rick’s development – “Latitude” on Gordon and Brisbane Streets has all but reached completion.

Quest Serviced Apartments have taken possession of eight (8) floors and 115 serviced apartments and are currently operating this part of the building at close to maximum capacity. The two (2) commercial tenancies on Gordon Street are completed and awaiting occupation and the restaurant “Claudie’s Place” on Brisbane Street is expected to open for business shortly.

The remaining pieces of the puzzle are the four (4) penthouses on the 11th and 12th Floors which are currently in final fit out stage and are expected to be finished very shortly. The view from the penthouses is exquisite, each having its own unique vantage point over the Mackay CBD and, indeed, the Mackay hinterland. Following completion the penthouses will be offered for sale.

Rick is to be congratulated for his vision and determination to see this project through to completion. The quality of the fittings and finish throughout the building is a testament to Rick’s attention to detail and exacting standards. Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors were recently privileged to be able to hold their annual Christmas Party for members of staff on the pool deck on the 12th Floor. A great night was had by all thanks in no small part to the fantastic food and breathtaking views we were treated to.
