Macrossan & Amiet would like to introduce the firm’s three new trainee solicitors.
Damon Boswell
Damon, who is a trizygotic triplet, was born and raised in the Mackay. He has a large extended Maltese family who are canefarmers in the Marian district.
Damon initially attended Mirani State High School before completing his secondary schooling education at St Patrick’s College. For the next three (3) years Damon studied a Bachelor of Laws degree at QUT in Brisbane. Damon returned home to Mackay to complete his final year of study. During this time, Damon commenced working with the firm to gain some practical experience prior to completing his degree.
Damon’s interests in law are in civil litigation and criminal areas.
Outside of work he likes spending time with his friends and family and loves all sports, especially rugby league.
Narada Sirichaivachakul
Narada was born in Thailand and moved to Mackay with her family when she was five (5) years of age. Mackay became her home for the next 12 years while she completed her schooling.
Narada attended The University of Southern Queensland in Springfield, as the main campus in Toowoomba was a little too cold for her. Initially she studied a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws, however, she discontinued her business degree to solely focus on her passion and interest for law. Following the completion of her degree, Narada returned home to Mackay and commenced with Macrossan & Amiet in January this year.
Narada’s interests in law are personal injury and compensation claims, banking and insolvency, wills and estates, property and conveyancing.
Outside of work Narada identifies herself as somewhat of a homebody who takes pleasure in spending time with her cat “Luna”, knitting and cross stitching in particular crocheting.
Shannyn Flynn
Shannyn is a Mackay local who grew up around Pinnacle and Mackay. She completed her secondary schooling education at St Patrick’s College in 2016.
Shannyn joined the Macrossan & Amiet team in January 2019 as a secretary and has been working for director, Caitlin Roberts. After commencing employment, Shannyn decided to study law and commenced external study at CQU while working full time. Shannyn completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Psychology) last month and is now working for the firm as a trainee solicitor.
Shannyn is passionate about law and keen to learn and experience all aspects.
In her downtime Shannyn enjoys listening to live music and spending time with family and friends.
Welcome to the team Damon, Narada, & Shannyn.
