The Trustees held the Annual General Meeting on 30 August 2024 wherein the Trustees appointed two new trustees, Brendan Refalo and Kristelle Lamb, following the resignations of Clifford Flor and Richard Deguara.
Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation then held its presentation day in Mackay & Cannonvale on Thursday 26 September to distribute a total of $129,344.63 to this year’s successful applicants.
Including this years distributions, the total amount distributed to local organisations and not-for-profit organisations since the foundations inception is $1,178,932.50.

- YIRS One Stop Youth Shop Inc.
- Australian Street Aid (to be managed by Rotary)
- Mackay Hospital Foundation
- Proserpine Nursing Home
- Men’s Shed Airlie Beach Whitsunday Inc
- Volunteer Marine Rescue Whitsunday Inc.
- Year 11 bursaries
The Foundation makes a distribution to charities and organisations each year. Applications are required to be submitted by 30 June and distributions are made after the applications have been considered by the Trustees. Stuart Naylor commenced working at Macrossan & Amiet in 1996 after having completed Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws Degrees. Stuart became a partner in the firm on 1 August 2004. Stuart lives in Mackay with his wife, Debbie and three daughters, Brooke, Reese and Kaitlin. Outside of work Stuart is a director of the Whitsunday Anglican School and the Secretary of Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation.
