About Our Charitable Foundation
The Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation was established in 1995 to give back to the communities that have supported our firm for over a century.
As a long-standing Mackay law firm, we recognise the importance of strong local organisations in building resilient and connected communities. The Foundation provides financial assistance to charitable organisations, community groups and not-for-profit initiatives across Mackay, Proserpine, Cannonvale and the wider Whitsundays region.
Our focus is on supporting projects that make a meaningful difference in areas such as health, youth services, aged care, disability support, community wellbeing and social inclusion.

Foundation History
On the 1st July, 1995, our firm celebrated its centenary. As a mark of its thanks to the people of Mackay and sign of respect for Fred MacNish, Vince Macrossan, Bill Amiet and Stan Amiet, and to perpetuate their memory, the ‘Macrossan & Amiet Foundation’ was announced.
In the time since its establishment our firm has donated over $AUD140,000 to this Foundation.

No administration costs are met from the capital of the Foundation and are met by the legal firm Macrossan & Amiet.
