It’s that time of year again where the who’s who of Mackay swap work boats for runners, and head to the Mackay Marina for a regional running event like no other.

Macrossan & Amiet have had a long affiliation with the BMA Mackay Marina Run with past Director Damian Carroll being involved since its inception as a member of the Mackay Leukemia Foundation, and current Director Samantha Sticklan coming on board in recent years as the guru of all things “finish shoot”.  Over the years the run has raised $470,000.00 for the Leukaemia Foundation and grown to be one of the largest regional running events in Australia, all put together by a bunch of local volunteers and sponsors that had a vision and have continued to watch it come to life.  Many of our client’s and staff are involved in the event as sponsors, volunteers and runners.

The Corporate Challenge is a great event for any workplace and this year the Macrossan & Amiet team have committed to weekly training, with a goal of being the fastest legal firm to cross the finish line!

We wish to encourage all our client’s, either through the Corporate Challenge or individual events to sign up and take part on Sunday 4 June 2023.
