Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors is a full service leading law firm in Central Queensland who provide advice and support to the local community, with offices located in Mackay, Cannonvale and Proserpine.  We provide legal expertise in relation to all legal matters including; business law, personal injury & compensation claims, criminal, drink driving and traffic offences, wills, family law, estate administration, estate disputes and buying and selling property including vacant land, houses, units, farms, businesses, commercial.

We have an accounts department position available within our Mackay office.

We are looking for a person who is seeking a long-term career with us with these qualities:-

• very high attention to detail;
• ability to type accurately;
• competent in Office 365 programs;
• polite and clear telephone manner;
• discretion, maturity, punctuality and composure under pressure;
• previous experience not required.

Full training will be provided on site.

The position tasks include, but are not limited to:-

• preparation of office payments by way of cheque and electronic funds transfer;
• receipting of payments;
• preparation of office banking;
• maintain and balancing petty cash;
• weekly reports;
• other general administrative tasks.
