Charitable Foundation Media Release

23 years ago, Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors celebrated its 100th birthday by establishing a Charitable Foundation to keep on giving back to the community.  From the initial $100,000 donated by the firm, the Foundation has grown to hold capital in excess of $1M thanks to the many generous donors who have donated to the Foundation through the years.

All donations to the Foundation are tax deductible and every dollar donated is invested and forms part of the capital.  It is the interest which is distributed yearly.  This year over $60,000 has been distributed to charities in the region.  To date the Foundation has distributed more than $630,000-00 to local charities.

The Independent Trustees are grateful that all administration costs are met by the legal firm Macrossan & Amiet and SH Tait & Co carry out the annual audit at no cost.  Everyone is encouraged to consider donating to the Foundation as every dollar you donate is invested and keeps on giving each year.  From the smallest things, great things can be achieved.
