Congratulations – James McDonald

Andrew Telford is the resident director in the firm’s Whitsunday office which is situated in the Whitsunday Business Centre which is next to the Coles Supermarket at Cannonvale.  The office is accessible with abundant car parking and there is a lift which means that, those who need to, can avoid stairs.

Andrew is from a cane farming family and was born and raised in Proserpine.  He practised law in Proserpine for many years and has since 2000 had an office in Airlie Beach.  Andrew has the benefit of being a hands on local solicitor and can empathise with the local people as well as people from outside the region.  Clients can benefit from Andrew’s local experience as well as the personal relationships that he has within the Whitsunday area.  Andrew was admitted as a solicitor in 1991 and recently  has worked mostly in commercial and property related matters.

Andrew is married to Rachelle and he has two sons and a daughter. Rachelle is a hands on mum who loves Crossfit.  Andrew is happy to be either fishing with Jack or weightlifting with Mitchell.  Jack is keen about sports fishing (bait fishing is very much frowned upon!!) and has encouraged Andrew, at some expense, to buy a boat, ute and build a shed to accommodate these ‘accessories’.  Andrew has also learned how to hold a fish ‘properly’ for an Instagram post.  Mitchell can usually be found in the gym where he is excelling as a powerlifter.  Andrew’s daughter Abby is quite an intellectual having an avid interest in languages and psychology.
