Darren Robinson has returned back to the Whitsunday area after many years away and recently purchased a home for his family and gorgeous one year old daughter, Stella who is a bundle of energy.
Darren was previously a Detective Sergeant in the Queensland Police Service. When he left the Police Service he went on to study at the James Cook University where he completed his Bachelor of Law. Whilst at James Cook University, Darren was selected to represent the university at the National Mooting Competition which involves all Law Faculties across Australia competing in the area of Civil Advocacy. The competition lasted for five days and was a great experience.
Darren’s father Allan and younger brother Wayne also call the Whitsundays home and have been chipping in and helping out with the baby sitting duties.
Darren closely follows the AFL and barracks for the Brisbane Lions. Although the wins have been lean, things are about to change with Leigh Matthew at the helm and the Lions should be returning to the winners circle. When he was younger and fitter Darren played for many years with the Whitsunday Sea Eagles and Mackay City Hawks.
Darren also enjoys motor-bike riding and completed an 11 day trek that involved riding from Cooktown to the Tip and back.
