LLB – Solicitor

Mackenzie was born in Mackay and spent much of her early life in the mining towns of Tieri and Moranbah before returning to Mackay at age 12 to attend Whitsunday Anglican School.

Following graduation, Mackenzie moved to Brisbane where she attended Duchesne College and commenced a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University. In 2020, she returned to Mackay and joined Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors, initially working alongside Samantha Sticklan and later Paul Formosa.

Whilst working at the firm, Mackenzie transitioned into studying law remotely through the University of Southern Queensland, allowing her to gain practical experience alongside her legal studies.

Mackenzie has particular interests in Family Law, commercial law with a focus on leasing matters, and property law. She is passionate about assisting clients through challenging and often complex legal matters with practical advice and a professional approach.

Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys reading and spending time with her family, friends, and her partner, Michael.
