I feel privileged to have recently joined the Macrossan & Amiet Whitsunday office as a Solicitor. I was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria in August 2014. I studied at various universities including Deakin University, University of Southern Queensland and I graduated from James Cook University in Townsville with a dual degree in Law and Business (Management).
I have lived in many places including Bundaberg, Airlie Beach, Townsville and Melbourne, so whilst I don’t necessarily have a home town as such, my family have based themselves here in Airlie Beach so it is the closest thing to home. Having worked in Melbourne at Legal Aid and at a local Whitsunday law practice I have developed a passion particularly for court work. I thoroughly enjoy the practical and hands on experience of assisting clients with their legal issues and attending court. I have gained experience in many facets of law during my studies including immigration, property, criminal and family law.
Whilst most people are discussing their children’s achievements, I am often talking about what cute or naughty thing my miniature poodles have been up to recently. When I am not boring people with photos of my dogs or my bird I am thinking about food, spending time at the beach and embarking on various adventures, the latest of which is art classes.
I am thoroughly looking forward to beginning my career at Macrossan & Amiet as a newbie my first impression has been of a very professional and friendly workplace.
