This month has seen a change in the Management of our business. After 14 years as Managing Partner/Director, Gene Paterson stood down as Manager with Stuart Naylor taking over as Managing Director of the Firm. Gene continues in his role as Senior Lawyer and Director and will now focus particularly on his large personal injury practice, and in mentoring our younger lawyers.
Stuart does not anticipate any major changes in the direction or management of the Firm, although the Mackay economy does present challenges for all business operators at the present time. Stuart hopes to increase the engagement of our Directors and Lawyers with our client base. Macrossan & Amiet has always placed emphasis on developing relationships and building value with clients and that remains as important now as ever.
