Kerry commenced with Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors in May 2012 as a Graduate Solicitor, after being admitted as a Legal Practitioner by the Supreme Court of Queensland in April 2012.
Kerry has worked as a legal graduate in an in-house legal team for a prominent Australian airline. She relocated to Mackay with her partner in May 2012 to broaden her career opportunities and to be closer to Kerry’s Mackay-based family. Prior to commencing university, Kerry resided in Melbourne and worked for a city council in various roles. In 2005 she moved to Brisbane to undertake her studies at Griffith University and completed her Bachelor of Laws in 2010.
Kerry is originally from Brisbane, however her family moved around during her schooling and she has been lucky to live in regional towns across Queensland as well as Hobart, Tasmania and Albury Wodonga, Victoria. Despite her travels, Kerry proudly calls herself a Queenslander.
Kerry has a passion for equality and social justice and if she wasn’t working in the legal industry, she would be helping others through a community based organisation. Kerry is looking forward to building on her legal skills and knowledge at Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors.
Outside of the office, Kerry enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking her dog at the beach, meeting new people and travelling.
