Queensland Courts Criminal Case Lookup

New clients of Macrossan & Amiet who are required to appear in Court in relation to a criminal matter, are often unsure about what date and time they are required to attend Court.

To assist people with knowing when their matter is next being heard, the Queensland Courts offer a free online tool for searching for matters.  The Queensland Courts Criminal Case Lookup allows parties to criminal matters being heard in the Supreme, District or Magistrates Courts in Queensland to find information about upcoming Court events.

To use the Queensland Courts Criminal Case Lookup, you will need to input the full name of the defendant and their date of birth.  This will provide information about the date and time for the next court date, the location and the type of event (e.g. mention, committal).

The Queensland Courts Criminal Case Lookup can be accessed online  https://www.courts.qld.gov.au/services/do-it-online/criminal-case-lookup

Cases with legislative or Court ordered suppression of information restrictions (such as domestic and family violence matters) are not displayed.

Clients may otherwise be provided with documents from the Court or Police which contain details of their next court appearance, such as a Notice to Appear or QP9.
