Stephen Willis has recently joined the Macrossan & Amiet legal team, fulfilling the position of Trainee Solicitor.

In 2007, Stephen completed a Bachelor of Law Degree at James Cook University, in Townsville, and now endeavours to meet the requirements to become a qualified solicitor.

Stephen comes from a background of cattle grazing, growing up on a large cattle station west of Chillagoe. After having experienced the exciting life of the bush, Stephen then moved to Townsville, where he completed High School at the Cathedral School of St Anne & St James.

His studies then led him to James Cook University where he completed his Law Degree. During this time Stephen was a keen member of the Rebels Soccer Club as well as competing in both mixed social and mens’ Indoor Soccer teams.

Stephen has also spent time serving and gaining experience at the Townsville Community Legal Centre and in his spare time he loves getting out on the water for a fish and still enjoys spending time occasionally doing cattle work at his sister and brother-in-law’s cattle property, near Bowen.

Stephen moved to Mackay at the beginning of 2008 to join the firm and has found the city to be an enjoyable place to live.
