We have a full-time secretarial position available in our Criminal Law team at the Mackay office.
Qualities we are looking for
We are looking for a person who is seeking a long-term career with us with these qualities:-
- very high attention to detail including spelling and grammar;
- ability to type accurately;
- competent in Office 365 programs;
- previous experience will be highly regarded, although not required.
Full training will be provided on site.
Position Description
The position tasks include, but are not limited to:-
- preparing, amending and finalising legal documents and correspondence;
- digital dictation typing;
- answering, screening and forwarding telephone calls;
- opening and preparing files;
- maintaining client records;
- liaising with clients and providers;
- file administration including digital filing;
- weekly billing;
- client reporting;
- other general administrative tasks.
