On Monday, 2 March, Queensland Law Society hosted its Celebrate, Recognise, Socialise event at Harrup Park, to celebrate the achievements of the profession, honour 25 and 50-year members, and enjoy reconnecting with colleagues and friends.
Members of our team attended to honour Gene Paterson who was recognised as a 50 year member of the Queensland Law Society. Gene was also awarded a honorary membership to the Queensland Law Society in recognition of his significant contributions to the Queensland legal profession.
Gene was joined by members of his family to celebrate the occasion. His wife Jane along with three of their children Georgina, Charlotte and Brigid attended to show their support. Georgina, Charlotte and Brigid have all followed in Gene’s footsteps and also practice as lawyers.
