New laws have passed requiring adults to report details of child sexual offences, or risk imprisonment for failing to report to Police.

Childhood victims of sexual abuse can now commence a claim for damages for personal injury no matter how long ago the sexual abuse occurred and can include circumstances where the victim’s claim was previously determined to be outside the limitation period.
